About Us

Welcome to St. Mary School!

St. Mary School was founded in 1914 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame.  For over one hundred years, the “charism” of that religious community, which is “unity, and educating in all we do and world vision” continues to permeate who we are.

Hopefully, you will take a few minutes to visit with us online and discover the great opportunities afforded to our students.  We pride ourselves on educating the whole child with a special emphasis on his or her religious formation in the Catholic faith.

You are always welcome to come and see our wonderful school and consider joining our great school family!

*We are asking that our community at St. Mary School help to make their voice heard about Mandated Services in Catholic schools vs. public schools.*

This important message is from CSAANYS (Catholic School Administrators Association of New York State):
Take ACTION NOW – we need you all those who support Catholic Education!  We cannot stand idly by and be subjected to a 4% DECREASE in Mandated Services while public schools get a 4% INCREASE.  SPEAK OUT!  BE LOUD!  DEMAND passage of S.6089 and A.7833 before session adjourns.
Your input matters, it will take 2 minutes to send the email and tweet the information.

Potential Tax Policy Changes & Catholic K-12 Education

In the ongoing discussions in Congress about reforming the U.S. Tax Code, Catholic K-12 education could be directly impacted. While not seemingly the direct target of these changes, the disruption to innovative schooling models and current benefit structures for staff and their families could be enormous. This special edition of CE News is meant to inform you of the potential changes and to equip you to advocate directly to your Representatives and Senators.
