Welcome to Mrs. Hoffmann's
Welcome to another wonderful week in Nursery. The children are learning so much. This week we are reading Valentine's Day stories and creating valentine decorations for our classroom. We are also continuing to learn about winter and polar animals. This week we will also learn about Abraham Lincoln. The colors purple and pink will be introduced. The number three will also be introduced. We are beginning to recognize some of the letters in the alphabet. We will continue to cut with scissors and we are learning to recognize our names. February is dental health month. We will learn about our teeth and how to take care of them.
This week we will thank God for our families. We pray each day in our classroom and we practice making the Sign of the Cross.
Re-registration forms and fees were due last week. Please send them in to hold your child's spot in our Pre-K classes for next year.
We are in need of paper towels and baby wipes in the classroom. We would appreciate any donations you can make to our room.
Please remember to label all of the items your child brings to school. Children should bring a change of clothes, including socks and shoes, in case of a bathroom accident. These items should be kept in a labeled Ziploc bag in your child's backpack. Children may not bring nut products to school. This includes hazelnut items.
Box Tops for education is a
great way to support our school. When a Nursery or Pre-K student brings 30 valid Box Tops in one month, they will earn a free hot pretzel.
