       Welcome to Mrs. Hoffmann's
      Nursery Class

This week will be very busy in Nursery School. We will celebrate Valentine's Day, the 100th Day of School and Mardi Gras. Wednesday will be Ash Wednesday and will begin the Holy season of Lent. The children are continuing to learn to recognize their names in print. Please place their names around the house and have them find them. Continue to practice cutting with safety scissors. The children are learning to put on their own coats.

Sebastian is our Star of the Week this week. We can't wait to learn all about him!

Our class is running low on paper towels and baby wipes. We would appreciate any donations you could send to our classroom.

Please remember to put a change of clothes, including socks and shoes, in a labeled bag in your child's backpack. The clothes should be checked periodically for size and seasonal changes.

All children will need an art smock in school. An oversized shirt is best. Each child should bring a washcloth as a placemat each day. It will be kept in their lunchbox.

Box Tops for education is a
great way to support our school. When a Nursery or Pre-K stud
ent brings 30 valid Box Tops in one month, they will earn a free hot pretzel. Please take the time to register our school with your Stop and Shop account. Our school can earn money each time you shop if you register. A note went home at the beginning of school from Mrs. Bendick about both of these great fundraisers.
