Pre-Kindergarten Newsletter

May 2017

Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe it is May!  The children will continue to work on the season of spring, Mother’s Day, Mary our Mother, and plants and animals.  The children will explore plants and animals through literature, arts and crafts, and simple science experiments.

The children will continue to work on letter/sound recognition.  They will count and order numbers up to 31.  Please continue to practice writing their names with upper and lower case letters.

We will have our Mother’s Day Tea on Thursday, May 11th in the school auditorium at 10:00am.  The children have been working very hard on their songs and gifts for you.

The children will have Field Day on Wednesday, May 24th.  A separate notice will be sent home with more information.  All are welcome to attend!

Please check the school calendar and  the school website for important events for the month of May.  THANK YOU!

As always, we thank you for your support and cooperation.
