Building Faith & Minds for the Future
Est. 1914
My name is Ms. Lynch and I am excited to be your child's third grade teacher this year. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning together.
I am a graduate of St. Joseph's College, with a dual certification in General Education and Special Education. I also hold a Master's Degree in Literacy from St. Joseph’s College. My teaching career officially began when I became a Preschool teacher. I taught Pre-Kindergarten for seven wonderful years. Although I truly loved working with preschoolers, I wanted the opportunity to work with different age groups, so I became a substitute teacher. This led to me working as a teaching assistant and then as a teacher within the Special Education Department of a local school district here on Long Island.
In third grade your child will move beyond learning to read and will begin reading to learn. You will see a shift in their behavior and they will start to read more for pleasure. My goal is to create a classroom where your child feels welcome, safe, and excited to learn. I want to instill a love for learning and support their academic growth as well as their social emotional learning.
I look forward to working with all of my students and their families!!
