Building Faith & Minds for the Future

Hello!
How exciting it is to return to St. Mary School for a third year of teaching!
I am a graduate of St. Joseph's College, with a dual certification in General Education and Special Education. I also hold a Master's Degree in Literacy from St. Joseph’s College.
My teaching career officially began in 2009, when I became a Preschool teacher. I taught Pre-Kindergarten for seven wonderful years. Although I truly loved working with preschoolers, I wanted the opportunity to work with different age groups, so I became a substitute teacher and then a teaching assistant within the Special Education Department of a local school district on Long Island.
In third grade your child will move beyind learning to read and will begin reading to learn. You will see a shift in their behavior and they will start to read more for pleasure. I want to instill a love for learning and support their academic growth as well as their social emotional learning.
I look forward to working with all of my students and their families!!
