***There seems to be a problem with mathbits and the Extra Credit assignment. I will try to rectify the problem today. If I am not able to fix the problem it will be removed from Google Classroom. Please do not attempt to do this assignment now. Thank you. If anyone was able to get on, please let me know!!!
Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31
I am not assigning any new work today and tomorrow. Many of you have not yet submitted work from the last two weeks. I have sent many reminders to students on Google Classroom, so please check this out. I put all new grades on Power School this weekend. When you go on, you will be able to see what assignments are missing. I am giving you until Wednesday to complete any work that is still not done. ***If you handed in something on Sunday, Power School will not reflect this. The grades are based on assignments handed in through Saturday, March 28. Some of you have completed everything. CONGRATULATIONS!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I know that this is new, but you must complete the math work daily and not let it pile up. If you have completed all you have to do and want to do some math I will be putting up an extra credit activity on Google Classroom. It is an interactive (Caching) assignment. We started this one in class earlier in the year so you should remember the directions. Remember, it is like a treasure hunt. You must complete each box, insert your answer into the web address and if you get to the next box, you were correct! This assignment is not mandatory, but I always want to have something extra to do if you wish. Please, do not attempt this assignment unless you have completed the daily assignments.
Thursday and Friday, March 26-27
Work on the FACE-ing Math Activity. This activity is included in the packet you were given. With the activity you should also have a blank face. Remember, there is also a copy of the assignment under Packet on Google Classroom. What you need to do on the sheet is to solve the two-step equations. Depending on your answers you need to draw what it says under the problems. For example for #1, if your answer is 3, you must draw the first set of ears on the blank face. If your answer is 4, please draw the second set of ears. You can do the work right on the paper. If you do not get one of the answers given, you must go back and do it again. On Google Classroom I have included a flowchart on how to solve equations that you can use. No checks are required because it is a self-checking assignment.
I am attaching a video on Google Classroom to review how to solve two-step equations. You also have examples we did in class in your notebook. You can also refer to your textbook. Look at Chapter 2 pp.44-45.
When you finish your picture, you can color it. Finally I would like you to send a screenshot of your work(2 pages) and your picture. This will be due on Friday, March 27. I have an Google Classroom assignment set up for this.

I am attaching a blank copy of your test on Google Classroom for you to fill in and submit. A work copy is in the packet that you received (the first page). You can first do the test on the paper in the packet and then transfer your answers onto the copy attached. This copy can then be submitted to me. Remember to open up in a new window, Google Doc and then save as a Google Doc. Remember; this is how we did it for your Hot Wheels Project. If you cannot do this, just send me the answers as best as you can on a Google Doc. Good luck!!! This assignment should be completed and submitted by tomorrow, March 25. I am changing the date to send a screenshot of your graphiti to Thursday.

I have attached two videos to review finding percent of change(percent of increase or decrease). You can use your calculators. When done, please send a screenshot of your paper and submit to me on Google Classroom. If you cannot do this, just put your answers on a Google Doc and submit. You can also refer to your Textbook p.188-191. You should also have notes in your notebook as this is something we have learned. Please answer the thought questions in complete sentences.
