Helpful Information
The Nursery Program at Saint Mary School provides a comforting and joyful environment to help your child ease into his or her first school experience. The program strives to provide a positive experience with school and God’s world.
It creates an atmosphere conducive to encouraging socialization, developing motor skills and facilitating learning through discovery. Through a variety of activities the children will grow socially, spiritually and academically.
NOTES TO REMEMBER
Each day please pack a snack, lunch and 2 drinks to school each day.The snack and lunch are to be packed in a lunch box, clearly labeled with the child’s name. A sports top bottle, spill proof cup or juice box is preferred.
( No glass bottles of any kind).
Please send a labeled washcloth to school each day inside your child’s lunch box to be used for a placemat.
Children attending after-care should have an extra snack to eat.
Please dress your child appropriately for school.
Children are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and sneakers for outdoor play.
No flip flops are permitted.
In the event your child has an accident in school, a change of clothing,
including socks and shoes, is necessary. All clothing should
be labeled and kept in your child’s backpack in a ziploc bag.
Please change clothing according to the season.
