My name is Mrs. D'Atri, and this is my fourth year teaching Spanish at Saint Mary School. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Literature, Secondary Education from SUNY Old Westbury, Old Westbury. It was been a wonderful experience teaching last year, and I'm excited to start the new school year!
I love very much to teach my native language to different groups of students: children, teenagers and adults. During this summer, I taught beginner, intermediate and advanced Spanish classes at Berlitz Language Center. These classes included seminarians, priests and even a well-known journalist.
I hope to be able to communicate the richness of the Spanish language as well the culture of the Hispanic countries, while students enjoy the learning of this useful and fantastic language!

¡Bienvenidos!
A welcome to all of you! I am so excited to continue our fourth year together. Los estudiantes from seventh and eighth grade will have a review of last year's material, and then to continue our Spanish journey right away.
The sixth graders will start el libro de Español and it will be very exciting. The students from third to fifth grade are going to receive a copy of a Spanish packet full of useful topics and vocabulary. I cannot wait to see you in the clase de Español!
