Dear Parents and Guardians,
      I am writing to you with the most recent updates on information regarding the COVID-19 situation. At this time, St. Mary School will be closed from today, March 16^th until March 27^th. If there are any other changes to this time frame, I will contact all school families through School Reach automated messages and our school website. Our faculty has prepared educational materials and assignments for on-going, home-based learning during the next few weeks. During this time the teachers will update and post information and assignments. The teachers will be available by email Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM. Please feel free to contact your teachers with any questions or concerns regarding your assignments. During this time of off-site learning, all students must report to their teacher’s webpage at www.saintmaryschoolei.org for specific guidelines regarding daily work to be completed. Any physically completed work should accompany the students upon their return to school.
     Many school events and activities have been cancelled or postponed at this time, please refer to the school website for updated information as it arises. A new schedule of activities will be posted when school resumes.
Saint Mary School will undergo extensive deep cleaning and sanitization during these two weeks of closure. We are following all of the guidelines that the Department of Health has required. Please contact me with any questions or concerns at lmcmahon5607@saintmaryschoolei.org.
     The health and safety of our school families, faculty and staff are our top priority. I ask for continued prayers for those who are impacted by the virus, our country, our leaders, and our St. Mary School families during this sensitive time.

Dear Friends,

Welcome to Saint Mary School! Our philosophy is to educate the whole child in an atmosphere of faith permeated with Christian values.

For the past thirty-two years, I have been a member of St. Mary School Community. I have taught many grade levels at St. Mary's from Kindergarten  to Grade 7. Ten years ago Mr. Arpino  invited me to be a member of his Administrative Team. I have enjoyed my dual roles as teacher and administrator. God has led me to this position and I look forward to my new role as principal of St.Mary School.
